CESSNA GRAND CARAVAN 208B-EX:
Our Cessna Grand Caravan C208B-EX amphibian aircraft, manufactured in 2014, is regarded as one of the most dependable, cost-effective, and safe single-engine aircraft. The amphibious floats provide the greatest in versatility, allowing us to fly to any acceptable water or runway landing place.
THE FIRST AND ONLY COMMERCIAL SEAPLANE SERVICE IN VIETNAM:
In 2014, Hai Au Aviation got three Cessna Grand Caravan 208B-EX aircraft from the Cessna plant in Wichita, Kansas. After the floats were built by Wipaire Inc. in Minnesota, the planes flew for nearly 60 hours across California, Hawaii, Marshall, the Philippines, and eventually Vietnam. Hai Au Aviation is still the only firm in Vietnam that provides commercial seaplane service, and it has consistently grown by double digits in both client base and revenue.
AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENTS:
Apart from the impressive outfits, especially with the two attached pontoons under each seaplane’s fuselage, all planes have been equipped with the most modern ‘glass cockpit’ avionics, weather radar, storm tracker system and Garmin GPS. All routes and water operating areas are surveyed and approved for use by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.
AIRCRAFT CAPACITY:
On Hanoi-Halong or Halong-Hanoi flights, our seaplanes can normally accommodate up to 8 adult passengers (including baggage). Occasionally, the weight of the passengers and their belongings falls below the maximum permitted payload. So, we might be able to accommodate up to 12 people, especially the scenic flight in Halong Bay
